Somebody knows how to hold up her head!

The latest is that Elizabeth is getting really good at holding up her head. If you hold her while sitting reclined, she can push her head up and stare at you =) It is really cute. I haven't gotten a good picture of it yet.

She also has started crying just to be held or to get attention. She used to only cry for food and diaper change. I tried letting her take a nap in the Pack N Play in the bedroom instead of in the bouncer or in somebody's arms. She sure didn't like it! Even though she was clean and fed she just cried and cried until I picked her up. But today she took a short nap in the Pack N Play - so hopefully she gets more used to it so she can start sleeping in her intended bed.

I thought this was the cutest picture EVER!

Here she is in a Halloween outfit sent by Jessie.

Elizabeth - 2 1/2 weeks

Mom and Dad came to help out for a while after Elizabeth was born. It was so nice to have them! Mom made some great food and did all the dishes. She also stayed with me while Morgan went to school and work, which was very nice.

Dad enjoyed holding Elizabeth =) It was really special that he got to see his granddaughter.

This is Elizabeth when she is hungry. This was the first time that we dressed her up, but she wasn't feeling very photogenic.

This is Morgan and Elizabeth sleeping in the same position!! HAHA! I could hardly believe it what a great shot this is!

It seems like every outfit that she wears is so adorable, and I can't help taking so many pictures of her. What a great invention is the digital camera!

This is her melon outfit =)

Elizabeth - Day 12

Elizabeth is such a sweet baby! She gets cuter every time I look at her. =) Morgan loves holding her. When she was born she moved her arms all over the place, and she still does that now. She pushes her arms out of her swaddles and finds lots of satisfaction sucking her fist. She's been crying a LOT these last couple days, and we wonder if it is because she is simply awake more? She likes going on walks, whether it be around the apartment or outside.

Baby product of the week: Our pink bouncer will bounce at the very slightest touch! We can even rock her by stepping on the wire frame that is on the ground. It is soothing to her and helps her sleep. Thank goodness!

40 weeks pregnant

Our baby hasn't come yet, so now we have a 40 weeks pregnant picture. It is REALLY hard to take a pregnant picture where you feel like you actually look good... this one is the least of around 20 evils.

I'm a college graduate!

Wow, it took a lot of work to earn this piece of paper!!! I finished my degree in Electrical Engineering. YAY! This was really an awesome major. I think someday I will continue - I would LOVE to learn more about digital circuit design - the kind of stuff they do at Intel. I had a couple classes that dealt with that stuff and it was so fun that I didn't mind working on homework and projects for hours! (I know, I'm a nerd, but I've never denied that, have I?)

Twilight

Yes, I joined the band wagon. I have to admit that I really enjoyed the Twilight series. I started reading the first book 3 weeks ago and couldn't stop reading until I was done with the 4th book - and yes, I want to be a vampire, too.

I checked out the first chapter of Midnight Sun on stephaniemeyer.com and I LOVED it!! I'm excited for that book and for the 1st movie coming out before the end of the year.

Now what should I read?
