Since Morgan was directed to stay home from work, we decided to go to Tucano's for lunch. This is a Brazilian restaurant in north Provo. It is AMAZING! If you have never been to a Brazilian restaurant, you must try it out. Great for meat lovers! And if you are not a meat lover, you will become one. (Like I did)

The waiters come around to your table with big sword-like skewers with meat and they cut pieces off for you. They have bbq chicken, spicy chicken, roast beef, bacon-wrapped turkey, PINEAPPLE and more! My favorite two things were the cod in mango sauce and the fried bananas they gave us on a plate when we sat down. WOW it was heavenly! These were not Morgan's favorite - he gave his share to me. I know I'm probably the wierd one.
You also get to go to the salad bar. It's all-you-can-eat of course. I'm not really a meat person but this place has found it's way to my list of favorites! It is quite expensive after 4:00 ($19 a person) but the lunch price is not that bad ($12 a person). Ask for a birthday card and you get a free meal in your birthday month.
In CHINA we went to a Brazilian restaurant. (This was in 2003 - I was a volunteer English teacher and I hadn't met Morgan.) When we went we were hoping for a break from the Chinese food that had so terribly disagreed with everyone in our group. Yet just like I'm sure Tucanos is plenty Americanized, this restaurant was plenty China-ized. There were chicken feet and dumplings and fish heads and bamboo and lots of stuff that I didn't find appetizing. haha! Food is such a different story in China. Never complain that a Chinese food place is "Americanized."
